CUSTOM SHOP
At SMI we make two types of products, build-to-order and custom. Build-to-order products can be ordered from our extensive catalog of products; and can generally be shipped four (4) weeks after a purchase order is received. But if you have looked through our product offerings and still have not been able to find what you need, then you can simply contact us and we can work with you to bring your ideas into reality.
If you are working with a budget, you may want to consider modifying one of our existing designs. This will minimize the design costs and often existing components can be used, which will also cut down on lead-times. Our products are designed with flexibility in mind. We can also design and build a fully custom product. We can start by learning what your special needs are; and if there are any existing limitations such as space that we need to work around to accomplish your desired result.
For custom work we will start with a proposal that includes the specifications, lead-times, costs and other relevant information. All custom orders are subject to a 50% nonrefundable deposit. Cancellation of an order for custom product will not be accepted once the order is in production.
