what you were looking for. The Vertical File
and Shelf units are made to complement our
2436 and 3042 flat files. They are made
with SMI’s top quality material and
workmanship. These modular pieces are
designed as stackable units that can be
coupled with our traditional flat files to
provide the configuration that best fits your needs. Each unit includes one vertical filing drawer for standard letter size hanging files and one tool drawer. The open storage space comes with one adjustable shelf for books or other reference material. Just let your imagination go wild and create you perfect work space with any combination of these filing systems and our versatile Pedestal Desks.
Convenient Combinations:
- Desk Height (31-1/8"): Combine a Cap, a Vertical File/Shelf, a 3-Drawer Flat File, and a Base (as shown in image below).
- Drafting Height (37-1/4"): Combine a Cap, a Vertical File/Shelf, a 5-Drawer Flat File, and a Base.
The overall size these units is the same as a 5-drawer flat file unit, so they can be capped with our standard oak caps or with our standard melamine cap for the corresponding size.
